Specialized Individual Training
Each training group will be coached over a three session plan that works on development at each players age group. Everything from the right foundations of their first touch, how to manipulate the ball, and more. Players will also be taught a series of moves and and turns that will help them succeed in many game playing situations.
Players will receive a weekly touches plan that will help enhance the total player experience. It is important to get quality touches on the ball. T.E.S.T is committed to making sure each player gets quality touches on the ball they need to thrive, which are the same touches academy players around the world are taught.
Fun Training Environment
Whether your player is 6 or 60 the game is meant to be fun. Growing in individual skill allows the game to become much more fun for the player. There will be plenty of game play scenarios during the sessions to allow players to demonstrate what they have learned, and to help fuel their excitement for the game.
Stephen's distinguished soccer career largely started in Pittsburgh, PA as a head staff coach of U11-U17 girls at PA Crew Academy. During his time at PA Crew, Stephen helped many players find their way to NCAA DI, DII, & DIII schools. While coaching club, Stephen also was a high school soccer coach, and lead the Mercer Mustangs to their first District Championship in 10 years. Stephen then went onto coaching collegiate soccer at Concord University, where we spent most of his time in the development phase of players. He has helped develop over 10 All Conference Players, and two Freshman of the Year Runners-Up. Currently Stephen is the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Lubbock Christian University. Since joining the Chaps in 2016, LCU has had the Freshman of the year, and 3 All Conference Players. Stephen is responsible for player development, and focuses on the basic fundamental principles. Stephen's personal philosophy is around the love of the game, "When players love the game, they harness the ability to grow so much in their individual skill, and when they grow in the individual skill, their love for the game flourishes even more."
1. As a parent what am I going to expect for my child?
A: As a parent you can expect for your son/daughter to learn the fundamentals for
soccer. Each hour training session will be designed to strictly teach skills and fundamentals to help your child learn, and be a better player. When every player signs up they will be able to access videos under T.E.S.T Players to start training right away.
2. What if I don't know the skills my child is supposed to practice?
A: That's ok. We have provided video demonstrations for you, once you sign up. They will show you and your player the skills again.
3. Where do I find the Training Waiver?
A: The training waiver is on the registration page, and a link to the waiver can be found on the registration confirmation page. The waiver can be submitted online and must be in our database, prior to your child participating in camp. If the waiver is not on file, you will be asked to fill out a waiver upon dropping off your child.
4. I need help or clarification. Who do I contact?
A: Contact Stephen at or 724-813-7497
